This Sunday, Senator Johnston and The Prodigal Son Initiative are hosting our annual community cookout and potluck at our Park Hill community office.
In addition to enjoying tasty food and local entertainment that afternoon, we’re also excited to unveil our pilot plan to help eliminate the “food desert” in Park Hill by providing neighbors ongoing access to fresh food.

What: Corny Corn Community Cookout & Potluck
Hosted by: Mike Johnston’s office and The Prodigal Son Initiative
When: Sunday, 7/22 at 1pm
Where: Park Hill Community Center – 5405 E. 33rd Ave.We’ll provide the burgers, hot dogs, and corn – feel free to bring your favorite side dish!
Performances by the Montbello Drum Line and UCC Dragons + spoken word poetry, music by DJ Cavem, and Graffiti Art Demonstration with Patrick McGirr.
